We completed a full social media and website audit for an early stage electric vehicle warranty startup based in the United States. The company offered extended coverage plans for EV owners and had recently raised funding from several early investors. Our job was to review their Instagram presence and their website, then put together a complete report with clear problems and solutions they could use to grow their brand and turn more visitors into paying customers.
The biggest issue we found was that the company had never defined a real target market. Because of this, their social posts felt scattered and did not speak to any one type of customer, and their homepage could not clearly explain who the service was actually for. On social media we also found they were not posting on a regular schedule, were not using short video content, were not replying to comments, and had no videos showing the team or founders, which made it harder for new visitors to trust the brand. On the website side we found broken links, missing pages such as an About page and a Contact page, plans that were hard to compare, weak calls to action, and testimonials that were cut off and hard to read. Nearly every problem traced back to the same root cause, which was not knowing exactly who they were trying to reach.
Our recommendations were built around helping the company define a clear target market first, then shaping every other decision around that audience. For social media, we suggested building buyer personas, creating a consistent content calendar, adding short educational and behind the scenes videos, and actively replying to comments to build trust and engagement. For the website, we recommended adding the missing pages, fixing broken links, clarifying pricing and coverage details, improving button contrast for accessibility, and building a simple comparison table so visitors could quickly understand what each plan included. I also put together a full sample homepage redesign to show how these changes could come together visually, along with a sample content calendar and example post ideas the team could start using right away.
